My name is Taylor Smith, I am a born and bred Territorian. I have been spray painting and working in the construction industry for over 15+ years and creating art for longer than I can remember.

When it comes to house painting and preparation I value detailed work and strive for a polished finish. There’s nothing better than fixing a surface and making the space feel completely new.

What has inspired my artistic style?

My creative style has roots in street art / hip hop culture but over the years I’ve mastered different mediums, practiced a variety of styles, and have been commissioned for paintings in a range of sizes. Creating murals is truly a passion of mine and has been since a young age. This has led me to pursue many creative endeavors as a career.

How did I get to where I am?

The early days would involve lots of drawing and custom art for friends and family, chalkboards at local cafes and signwriting for small businesses among other odd jobs. Ultimately this has eventuated into me being fortunate enough to be involved with the Darwin Street Art festival, painting my own large scale murals and other amazing projects! I love working together with clients to come up with individualized concepts based on things that are personal to them before bringing those ideas to life.

Nowadays I am a full time artist and commercial painter. My aim is to travel around the country pursuing my passion and painting murals for other people.
